The Nikon D5000 features a 12.3 megapixel DX-format CMOS sensor , 1 button Live View, a 720/24p movie mode, 11-point AF system with 3D tracking and has 19 scene modes you can choose from. It also features a unique 2.7" tilt and swivel LCD monitor. The Nikon D5000 will be available for retail at $729 body only or $849 that includes an AF-S NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR lens.
