I recently bought this new version of Hitachi’s camcorder and so far I’ve been impressed. It has longer recording time and bigger bandwidth than the last version. I heard some bad reviews about the older versions but with this one Hitachi has definitely has made improvements. I think my favorite part about this camcorder is the fact that you can take images from a video and turn them into digital still pictures. Nikon has announced updates to its Capture NX and Camera Control Pro software. The latest version of both extend support to the D3X.
