Fujifilm Finepix Z300 with touchscreen shooting

Fujifim Japan has released the Finepix Z300, its first camera that offers touchscreen shooting. With this new feature, users can focus and shoot images by touching the subject on the LCD screen. This 10MP camera with its 3.0" LCD and 5x (36-180mm equiv.) optical zoom incorporates features such as Image Stabilisation, an improved macro mode and Infrared Connectivity. The camera is available in Pink, White Gold, Purple and Glossy Black, but currently only in the Japanese market.

The rumors were true, Sony’s DSC-HX1 digital camera has official shown it’s face at PMA , and it’s face is none too ugly. The DSC-HX1 will feature the capability to take 224-degree horizontal and 154-degree vertical panorama with ease. Pre-PMA 2009: Samsung has released the CL5 compact camera (PL10 in Europe) with a built-in MP3 player.  With the camera’s multimedia player, one can listen or create slideshows with music files and watch videos on the LCD screen.
