Lesley Martin, Publisher of the Aperture Book Program, will be the juror for the 2009 Photo Review Photography Competition. The Photo Review, a highly acclaimed critical journal of photography, is sponsoring its 25th annual photography competition with a difference. October’s photo competition theme was “Lines and Circles”, a deliberately abstract theme to give your imagination a bit of exercise. It seems to have worked, because the standard of the entries has been higher than ever, with dozens of stunning photos exploring the theme from all possible angles, from the literal to the positively surreal.
