Existing SX1 IS owners will also be able to download the Digital Photo Professional software to edit white balance, exposure compensation and sharpness of their RAW files before converting them to JPEG. The firmware will be available for download from mid-March 2009 while US users should be able to buy cameras from April at an MSRP of $599.

Let’s Go Digital has posted a review of the Samsung NV24 HD . The serious photographer will appreciate the focal range and will perhaps be attracted to the 24mm wide-angle. As for sharpness, the lens center offers superb sharpness, whereas the edges suffer from blur which needs improvement. Trusted Reviews has posted a review of the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS7 . Overall image quality is also excellent. Exposure and colour reproduction are spot on, and auto white balance is reliably accurate. The lens is superb, with excellent sharpness even in the corners of the frame, and there is virtually no distortion at any focal length. Photo Review has posted a review of the Canon 5D Mark II. Image noise was barely visible in test shots taken at ISO settings up to 3200, regardless of whether they were short or long exposures. Beyond that point, the visibility of noise increased steadily, although colour accuracy and sharpness were retained right up to ISO 25,600. Cameras.co.uk have reviewed the Canon Powershot SX10 IS, it has a wide angle 20x optical zoom lens, optical image stabilisation, ISO1600, a 10 megapixel CCD sensor, VGA video recording, and a swivel 2.5" screen. The camera is available for £253 "The Canon Powershot SX10 IS has the edge over other super zoom digital cameras when it comes to the sharpness of the pictures it produces. I have very few complaints about this camera and it is one for the shortlist if you are looking for plenty of zoo
